Fabulous floral suggestions for your Fall Wedding

Updated: Jun 7, 2019

With this Heat wave we have been having, I can say I am definitely ready for fall ( even though summer hasn't technically started ). Fall is my favorite season and here are some unique and not over used floral suggestions for your fall wedding.

Edible Oranges

Add some Carthamus tinctorius 'Zanzibar' aka saffron thistle to the mix.

These beauties would be a perfect unique addition to your fall floral decor.

If you can find some organically grown they would be a great addition to a floral cake topper as they are food safe as well!

Autumn Leaves

The most magnificent thing about fall is when the leaves start to change their color.

Add some seasonal flair to your bouquet and centerpieces by incorporating those gorgeous red, orange and gold hues of autumn leaves.

Top it off with a few seasonal flowers in complimentary colors.

Herbal Boutonniere's

How great are these herbal boutonniere's?

This boutonniere combines Sage and Rosemary with just a sprig of greenery.

Not only do these look classic and elegant, they smell divine as well.

Dahlias for the Win

While Dahlias are not so much a unique wedding choice, they are the flower of the season.

Dahlias come in all different shapes, sizes and colors that will truly make a one of a kind floral choice.

Add some seasonal purple pops of color by incorporating figs in your floral arrangements as well.

Florals and Fruits

Muted browns, pale oranges and stunning greens add to this beautiful piece.

Your florist can add picks of fruit to your arrangements as well.

I love the look of how these pears flawlessly blend into this unique arrangement.

Wild over Wildflowers

Goldenrod blooms, coneflowers, and sedum blooms are all fall bloomers.

Not only are they an earthy unique touch, they also have a great vase life.

Add some texture with these stunning wildflowers to all your florals.

Adding a touch of sweetness

If you are looking for a non traditional option for your guys, consider an option like this.

We love this pomegranate and dahlia bud combination.

The pale green greenery compliments the dark reds stunningly.

Burgundy and Berries

Celosia, dahlias and cascading berries.

This centerpiece is full of fall blooms and gorgeous contrasting greenery

This would also make a gorgeous bouquet choice.

Add some texture

I am absolutely in love with this bouquet.

The red celosia blooms and tropical spidery protea flowers add a unique texture to this bridal bouquet.

Add some mums to finish it off for a one of a kind bouquet.
